Currently attending East Los Angeles College majoring in child development, minor in liberal studies and second minor in business. Transferring in Cal state Long Beach majoring in child development and minoring in business. AA in Child Development working in my BA for liberal studies.
Experience
Worked with special education for a month. Give back time to children with special needs in my community, church events on sundays since summer 2012. Teacher at a sunday school for two years grade level of third grade. I want to be a tutor because my passion is with kids and working with them is what I like to do and spend my spare time in. My theory in working with kids is giving them time and allowing them to teach me how to work with them not I whom give directions and apply terms. Children learn at their pace and therefore we have to teach within their context.

Hobbies
I like to have a quit relaxing environment, although I can use a little steam to boost me up. I like to have alone time no distractions and get to know the child first. Information is helpful to have a strategy and start working with the child. My goal as a tutor I believe quality is better than quantity. The better they understand the material the more successful children participate in class. Personally, I like to manage time so the child can try and do work on their own after explaining material. I always like to be prepared with material of my own preference.
